Sabrina Balliana
Set & Costume Designer – Dear Jack Dear Louise, The Woman in Black
Born and raised in Montreal, Sabrina Balliana is a costume and set designer, who works in theatre, cinema and live entertainment. She holds a Specialized Bachelor in English Literature, and a DEC in John Abbott College’s Theatre Design Program, where she has learned numerous skills to execute her creative visions on-stage. She is incredibly passionate about all facets of design, as well as the importance of storytelling, both textually and visually, and has loved working as a designer and general theatre practitioner in the exciting Montreal arts scene. Previous work includes set design for John Abbott’s Eurydice (2022), costume design for John Abbott’s Once Upon A Mattress (2023), production design for House of Actor’s Motherf*cker With the Hat (2024), costume design for One and the Other (2024), costume design for Savoy Society’s Princess Ida (2024), production design for Segal Academy’s Into The Woods (2025) and numerous costume and set designs for shows at many high schools across Montreal. When she isn’t designing, Sabrina also works as a set painter, freelance seamstress, theatre technician, wardrobe technician, and backstage stagehand. She is extremely excited to work and visit Prince Edward Island for the first time ever, and to connect with Atlantic Canada and its artistic scene!
