Debbie is a 5th generation Irish Maritimer, who was born in Moncton, NB, and raised in Montreal and Toronto. Debbie is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto. A life long educator, she is the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from St. Jerome’s University and the Queens Golden Jubilee Medal.

Presently Debbie is teaching new Canadians in PEI. Many years ago, Debbie and her husband established a second home in PEI that they happily share with family and friends.

Debbie is a keen appreciator of the Arts and is delighted to volunteer at the Watermark Theatre. She is honored to serve on the Watermark Board of Directors.
