Sound Designer – Same Time Next Year, Misery

Musician, composer, engineer, artist — these labels and many more make up the diverse approaches to sound that Aaron Comeau employs. An in-demand session player and studio haunt, he regularly performs with the likes of Skydiggers, Hayden, and Logan Richard, and has appeared on countless recordings, most recently with Carlie Howell, KINLEY, and Nick Doneff. Comeau also composes for film/TV, including last year’s PEI-made box office hit Who’s Yer Father, and presented official sound-installation exhibitions at Charlottetown’s Art In The Open in both 2022 and 2023. This summer will see the release of a number of original instrumental works through his Main St. Music Library, in addition to serving as sound designer at the Watermark Theatre and technical director at the Under The Spire Music Festival in Kensington, PEI.
